Why is it so important to measure Heart Rate Variability?

Here’s an interesting article about the benefits of measuring Heart Rate Variability (HRV), which is just one of the tests that we use at Hadley Chiropractic to evaluate your nervous system, as well as measure the improvements you get while benefitting from care.  It’s called “What’s the Real Cause of Heart Attacks?” http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2014/12/17/real-cause-heart-attacks.aspx

I certainly invite you to read the entire article, but the bottom line is that imbalance in your autonomic nervous system (the part of your nervous system that controls the function of all of your organs, glands, and blood vessels) causes serious health concerns.  This article doesn’t discuss it, but chiropractic care has been shown to improve this balance within your autonomic nervous system.  Here's a link for one of the studies demonstrating this benefit:  (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16690380).
